A graduate of the (former) River City School of Supernatural Ministry at The Family and a licensed minister with the River, Sharon happily brings her 16 years of retail management administrative skills and Love for God and her maturity as a follower of Christ to all she puts her hand to. She has a heart and a passion for community, market place and ministry outside the church as well as for the individual needs of others. She is married to her high-school sweetheart Jay and has one son, Jackson. She is the first point of contact for The Family Church and oversees The Brew bookstore. Sharon loves God, people, and books.
Tara Martzen has been with the Family Church since 1999 and her involvement in ministry began shortly thereafter. She is the mother of five wonderful children. Tara has worked in children, youth, and women’s ministries. While Tara now holds the position of the church’s bookkeeper—a taxing job (pun intended)—her ministry involvement has not ceased. She is a firm believer in raising up this next generation to be leaders in their communities and in the church. Her heart is for everyone at Family to continue growing in their relationship with the Lord.
